As you can see from this picture, I didn’t have a very good angle on the bulletin board while taking this picture. However, that is not the most frustrating part of today!
I should have been posting pictures of all of the next steps up to the finished product today. I had plenty of time to do this today. But I seem to be lacking concentration today. I put together the two side strips today and half of the middle strip. And then I realized that I had done it exactly wrong. So I spent some time unsewing and decided to take a break for the day. (It did occur to me that maybe I had invented a new block, but since that wasn’t really the purpose of my efforts, I dismissed that idea.)
So what you see above is all that got completed today. I will try to complete the rest of it tomorrow or late tonight when I get home from AWANA. But I don’t want to resew right now – and I’d like to really press these pieces before I resew. And, as we have already seen, I seem to be lacking concentration right now.
So maybe I’ll use the rest of my time at work here to Fabshophop. It’s always kind of fun, and every time that I have actually visited at least 100 shops I have won a $10 gift certificate from one of the shops. Of course, your results may vary.
Quilt on with concentration.
