While attempting to go through some of the clutter in my sewing room last Friday, I ran across some Ombre strips and a pattern that I’d purchased from Hancock’s of Paducah last year. After spending so much time working with the American Beauty, I was ready for something quick and this looked like it. So I totally quit sorting, figuring I’d knock out this quilt kit and then come back to the sorting.
Nope. I don’t know if it was the fact that the strips weren’t cut perfectly or if my 1/4″ seam wasn’t good because I took sewing the strips together too lightly or what, but this didn’t/isn’t going quickly. Sigh. And from the looks of it right now, it will not look straight when finished. GRRRRRRR!!!!!!
However, if I don’t like how it looks as a quilt when I’m done, I can cut it up and use it for fabrics in bags.
And there was too much brown in this jelly roll. I’m realizing how very much I do not like brown!
