Disappearing Pinwheel Progress

Warning! This post is image rich and may take a while to load.

I spent as much time as possible during the #MLKSI making Disappearing Pinwheel blocks. My layer cake started with the lightest fabrics on top, so as I work my way down, the contrast gets much clearer.

I’m very fond of the above print! It looks so pretty. It was the print on top of the layer cake.

This was sort of the grunge print in the lightest color.

This was the text print in the lightest color.

I like the hearts all around this one.

More little hearts!

Flower twins.

Darker pink hearts.

My plans here are currently to make all the layer cake squares into DPWs and then make two quilts using 20 blocks in each. I have purchased border fabric for those quilts, which will be throw sized. At least, that is the plan right now.

Quilt on!
