Well, the week began very very well! I made big progress on the 2014 Designer Mystery BOM, including making some of the largest hourglass blocks I’ve ever seen – 12 1/2 inches. The next step is to make 12 1/2 inch HSTs and I haven’t gotten to that yet because I’ve been sick. Yep, still sick. I’m hoping to sew a bit today, but we will see.
Once I got sick Tuesday evening, no sewing happened. Looking at quilty books and magazines, sure, but absolutely no sewing. I’m afraid I’ll cough at the wrong moment and cut something horribly wrong or sew a terribly crooked seam.
So, while my sewing production is way down, my quilty reading is up a bit. And, although I didn’t sew after Wednesday, I averaged well over 15 minutes a day after a couple very productive days early in the week.
Are you Marching Along with Darla at The Scientific Quilter? What have you been working on?
