I know, I know! I moved my blog to a new address and then quit posting. I’m sorry. I’ve been back in quilt sweatshop mode. This is caused by

  1. The church quilt deadline is rapidly approaching.
  2. Two Christmas presents are in progress.
  3. I have been trying to finish the second guest room quilt, AKA Rail Fence Checkerboard.
  4. I think I have been peer pressured into participating in Bonnie Hunter’s Mystery Quilt, Easy Street. (Yes, after telling 30 years worth of telling students that peer pressure is a bad thing, I have succumbed to quilter peer pressure.)

Sunday night I completed the Rail Fence Checkerboard top and prepped the backing. Today I delivered it to the quilt shop to be sent to the longarmer. Good news, right? This merits a picture, right? I forgot to take one. And, although I have some pictures of the Christmas gifts I’m working on, I can’t show them here until after Christmas.

I promise pictures in the next post. At the very least, I will have pictures of my fabric choices for the Mystery Quilt!

Quilters hand quilting the church quiltI found a picture! Sorry it is so dark. I really don’t make people quilt in the dark in my basement. Honest. It isn’t that kind of sweatshop.
