I know, I know! I moved my blog to a new address and then quit posting. I’m sorry. I’ve been back in quilt sweatshop mode. This is caused by
- The church quilt deadline is rapidly approaching.
- Two Christmas presents are in progress.
- I have been trying to finish the second guest room quilt, AKA Rail Fence Checkerboard.
- I think I have been peer pressured into participating in Bonnie Hunter’s Mystery Quilt, Easy Street. (Yes, after telling 30 years worth of telling students that peer pressure is a bad thing, I have succumbed to quilter peer pressure.)
Sunday night I completed the Rail Fence Checkerboard top and prepped the backing. Today I delivered it to the quilt shop to be sent to the longarmer. Good news, right? This merits a picture, right? I forgot to take one. And, although I have some pictures of the Christmas gifts I’m working on, I can’t show them here until after Christmas.
I promise pictures in the next post. At the very least, I will have pictures of my fabric choices for the Mystery Quilt!
