I need to get back to cleaning up the downstairs, but what am I doing? Not that! I seem to be avoiding it, but do need to at least cleanup the corner with the church frame so I can put that on before Thursday! I’ve set that up as the first quilting time and I do need to get to work. But of course that is not fun, so I haven’t done it yet. Well, that plus I had to do a day’s worth of research before I called the cable company to complain about the $30 a month rise in my cable bill and discuss my options. (Yes, I came very close to totally getting rid of cable and buying an antenna for local HD broadcasts. I may still do it after Dexter ends. But not yet. But cord cutting may be in our future.)
Look at what I got in the mail yesterday:
Yes, that’s a handbag frame. No, I’ve never made any kind of bag before. Yes, I’m about to make a tote from a pattern called Lizzie Anne – but that’s not what this is for. This is for the Tammy Bag that Madame Samm’s most recent blog hop was about. I also bought and downloaded the pattern. So sometime after the Lizzie Anne bag, I’ll be making myself a Tammy bag. It looks so awesome for carrying around hand projects. I’m in love.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll hear that the wedding quilt is back and ready to quilt, but I’m not holding my breath. I heard that the longarmer is really backlogged. Sigh. Oh well, I’ve got a year and a month and a day.
